On Monday my mom decided to watch both Seth and Savannah so that Kristen and I could go out and do some shopping. The kids have played so well together and we didn't think it would be TOO challenging for my mom. After all, she watches Savannah every Tuesday and Thursday morning for a few hours and she is very happy and comfortable here and Seth has been very independent and interested in all of her toys and nooks and crannies. When we came home from shopping mom looked like she needed a nap! Apparently they play better together when their mom's are with them! I couldn't stop laughing at something my mom did out of desperation. She put Savannah in the high chair to give her a snack. Seth also wanted a snack, but had no high chair. So my mother tried to make her own by strapping Seth to a chair with a belt! Mom said he just sat there contently, not quite sure what was going on but he was up for it. Fortunately for Seth, the belt was too big and her makeshift high chair didn't work:) I know Mike is getting a huge laugh out of this!

Wow, it just seems like yesteday that Sarah and Katie were in college and looking forward to life. Now we see them with children. Boy am I getting up there in age. Give that little boy a hug from a distant "adopted" uncle.

Those are adorable pictures! Did you guys plan the matching outfits? They look so cute! You know that those pictures are going to end up on display at their high school graduation parties and weddings!
