Our Trip to Lima

On Wednesday I made a quick decision to head to Lima. Thursday morning around 7:15 Seth and I packed into the car and endured a 9.5 hour trip. Fortunately he was a wonderful little traveler. We had to stop once at 10:15 and another time at 1:00. We got the Lima a little before 5:00 and have been having a great time ever since


Friday morning we visited dad and Stan at the office. Seth was really happy to see his grandpa.



Seth and Savannah acted like old buddies when they played together. This is the first time that they've both been in good moods and neither was afraid of the other.


Mom has transformed her Christmas tree into a beautiful Valentines tree with all sorts of heart ornaments and red decorations. Seth is looking in wonder at the different hearts.

Our family went to Subway for dinner which is where Seth and Savannah first said their hello's for the first time since New Year's day. It was sweet to see them reach out their hands for one another.

Grandpa was in heaven with both of his grandchildren happily sitting in his arms. Savannah kept teasing Seth with her block until Seth got smart and grabbed his own bock from the bag.

I am hoping to soon post the video footage of this adorable moment where mom and dad were both playing pattycake with Seth and Savannah at the same time. It is adorable. Normally Seth doesn't sit still for these sorts of games, but this time he enjoyed it.

After chruch the 3 boys sat on the couch waiting for dinner to be served!
