Amazing Baby Squirrel

Yesterday when we were at the Richard's house we saw an adorable baby squirrel. At first we were't sure what is was because none of us had ever seen a baby before. Have any of you ever seen a baby squirrel? It's eyes never opened although it hopped around and even came towards us. We hope that it hasn't been abandoned.
